Less than 15 days separate F1 fans from the third season of the Netflix hit docuseries ‘Drive to Survive’.
The new instalment of the show, famous for offering behind-the-scenes access to the F1 grid, lands on the streaming service on March 19.
The season will cover the pandemic-affected 2020 season, with all the early uncertainty, Grand Prix cancellations and replacements, and its 17-race short-for-today’s-standards calendar.
On the track, Lewis Hamilton record-breaking season and three-wheel-win at Silverstone, Pierre Gasly claiming a maiden win in Monza, and the huge Romain Grosjean crash at the 2020 Bahrain Grand Prix are expected to be some of the highlights.
The two pit-lane mistakes in a row by 7-time constructors world champions Mercedes, denying George Russell his first win at the Sakhir GP, is also high on the list. The 23-year-old is a Williams driver but replaced Lewis Hamilton in the race after the defending champion tested positive for COVID-19.
The filming crew had to respect strict health and safety protocols to shoot and produce the season.
